Spring Fling
Here's the dishtowel I appliqued for my partner in the Spring Fling Swap. My swap partner has a yellow kitchen, and since I have a great afficiondo for tulips, what else could I do?
“You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:6-8) (Read by Max McLean. Provided by The Listener's Audio Bible.)
To quote a favorite bumper sticker, "I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could!". I reside in the Lone Star state with my husband and 3 children, a menagerie of animals starring one "Awsome Dude" aka Andy, our Thoroughbred gelding. I love fiber arts of all kinds. Quilting and redwork embroidery lead the list but I'm interested in any and all arts with fibers of every variety.
